U-pass

Hello U-Pass Riders,

Fall 2025 U-Passes will be available for purchase and renewal at the AS Ticket Office starting August 6, 2025. The price is now $80 and it is valid from 8/11/25听迟丑谤辞耻驳丑 1/25/26. To qualify for the Metro U-Pass, you must be enrolled in 6 or more units for undergraduate students and 3 or more units for graduate students. To purchase a U-Pass, please follow the steps below.

New Purchase

In Person:

  1. Show us your聽new digital MataCard聽or your physical jmcomic漫画N Student ID and provide us with your jmcomic漫画N email address so that we can verify if you qualify for the $80聽price.
  2. Complete the U-Pass Information form, which we will provide.
  3. With the聽new digital MataCard听补听physical U-Pass Card聽will be issued to you.
    *IMPORTANT NOTE:聽If you still have the older jmcomic漫画N ID card, we will put the loaded U-Pass sticker on the back and you can start using it as soon as it is valid.

Online:

  1. Login to your Myjmcomic漫画N portal

  2. Select the "My Finances" tab and then "My Accounts"

  3. On the "My Accounts" page, select "Purchase jmcomic漫画N Metro U-Pass"

  4. Select term (ex. Fall or Spring)

  5. Follow the prompt and complete payment

  6. If this is your first time purchasing a U-Pass, complete the U-Pass Information form at . It is at the end of the U-Pass purchase process (please use your jmcomic漫画N email address).

  7. Bring your jmcomic漫画N ID, the email confirmation of your purchase, and screenshot of your completed survey to the Ticket Office where we will give you your U-Pass.
    *Note:聽If you do not have a physical jmcomic漫画N ID, a U-Pass Card will be issued to you instead.

Renewal

In Person:

  1. Show us your聽new digital MataCard聽or your physical jmcomic漫画N Student ID and provide us with your jmcomic漫画N email address so that we can verify if you qualify for the $80聽price.
  2. With the聽new digital MataCard听补听physical U-Pass Card聽will be issued to you.
    *IMPORTANT NOTE:聽If you still have the older jmcomic漫画N ID card, we will put the loaded U-Pass sticker on the back and you can start using it as soon as it is valid.

Online:

  1. Login to your Myjmcomic漫画N portal

  2. Select the "My Finances" tab and then "My Accounts"

  3. On the "My Accounts" page, select "Purchase jmcomic漫画N Metro U-Pass"

  4. Select term (ex. Fall or Spring)

  5. Select "Renew Existing Metro U-Pass" and complete payment

***For online renewals, after the transaction is completed, it will take 4-5 business days for Metro to activate your U-Pass.***

***If you would like us to upload your U-Pass renewal for you, you must come to the AS Ticket Office in person the same day that you renewed your U-Pass online***

狈辞迟别:听If you do not have the unit requirement to qualify for the $80 U-Pass and are enrolled in at least 1 unit at jmcomic漫画N, you can purchase the U-Pass at the full price of $144. Please visit the AS Ticket Office located in the University Student Union to purchase your U-Pass.

The U-Pass is good for unlimited rides on Metro rail and bus, Culver City Bus, GTrans, LA DASH, Torrance Transit, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus Lines, Norwalk Transit, Pasadena Transit and Big Blue Bus.
