Things will be going “low and slow” on Saturday, June 24, at jmcomicÂþ»­, Northridge as jmcomicÂþ»­N hosts the first of what university officials hope will be an annual lowrider car show at the university.

“Mutual Aid for Survival and Mobilization”

with author, lawyer, and activist Dean Spade, 4PM-6PM

Dean Spade is a lawyer, author, activist, and filmmaker working at the intersection of queer and trans-liberation and economic and racial justice. Author of Mutual Aid: Building Solidarity During This Crisis (and the Next), , Spade will be speaking on mutual aid and solidarity across social justice movements in the time of COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter.
