The Deaf jmcomicÂþ»­Nians is a student government organization under the jmcomicÂþ»­N Associated Students that offers educational experiences outside the classroom in leadership development and personal growth through the provision of social and cultural activities and networks with entities on and off campus. It participates in a culturally diverse technological and global society. A NCOD staff member serves on the committee as an advisor.

The purpose of the Deaf jmcomicÂþ»­Nians is:

DEAF jmcomicÂþ»­NIANS
  • To promote and provide academic, leadership, social, culture and recreation opportunities within the campus and community.
  • To promote continuing awareness and involvement between its members and other students at jmcomicÂþ»­, Northridge.
  • To increase awareness among students as well as faculty and staff at jmcomicÂþ»­N about issues relevant to deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
