Digital Presence and Governance Committee
Overview
The Digital Presence and Governance Committee (DPGC) provides strategic guidance to the ETSC on advancing jmcomicN’s digital ecosystem in support of institutional priorities. The committee identifies and recommends innovative technologies, scalable digital solutions, and strategic initiatives that enhance the university’s digital presence, user experience, and long-term web infrastructure. This includes oversight of university-wide digital communication platforms (e.g., Emma, Rave) and social media channels to ensure coordinated, accessible, and brand-consistent engagement. It ensures that jmcomicN’s digital platforms—including csun.edu and related properties—reflect university values, comply with accessibility and web standards, and are designed for sustainability, inclusivity, and strategic impact within the framework of university branding. The committee meets monthly during the academic year and as needed during the summer.
