SOLAR Leads

Overview

The SOLAR Leads is an ad-hoc working group advisory to the Student Systems Committee (SSC) and Employee Systems Committees (ESC), contributing to the effective implementation, security, maintenance, and enhancement of the SOLAR student, human resources, and finance systems. The group meets twice monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Provides recommendations on SOLAR system operations, improvement opportunities, and emerging needs across SOLAR student, human resources, and finance systems administration. including system upgrades and maintenance packs.
  • Ensure proper access management through SOLAR gatekeepers across departments, SOLAR security administrators, and college SOLAR coordinators.
  • Ensure compliance with data confidentiality policy.
  • Promote consistent practices and support resources related to SOLAR functionality and user access across the university.
